Until then

I have seen that jobs that are basically royalty or adsense based are more widely available for new writers. I have been a paid forum poster for a while and yes, it isn't a lot of cash but I learn a lot from forums I write for so it is an adequate trade off at this point. But writing for sites like Helium leave the account low and work load high to expect any profits if worthy. So I have continued with these pennies for work sites as much time as I can spare which may be an article or two a week.

I am also currently working for Suite 101, How to do things and Triond which differ in some ways but do not offer great financial upheavals at all. So I have continued sending off queries to interesting opportunities. To see what may come up.

I have actually written two pieces for a site called Sox Nest which haven't been published but will be shortly as I have received amazing feedback for the items submitted. Also I will be finally paid for each item like I intended when I started applying for jobs.

Although I am pleased with what I have accomplished in my short time as a Freelance Writer (jan.1st -> 07) I am still hoping to receive more steady and ongoing positions that will pay on project basis. I have noticed that if anyone specializes in the financial fields that they're tons of available positions, which makes me want to research that area in the future.

So all those new writers out there, pay your dues, work hard and you'll get the jobs you aspire to receive. That is what I have learned thus far. Any questions or concerns feel free to contact me.
