Inspired by the video below, I've decided to blog about my shopping experience online this birthday and Christmas season.
Having three immediate-family birthdays in early December has always given me the jump start on starting sooner every year than most as if I don't things can become awkward I imagine if dates come and go and no presents seem to show.
So this year I decided to start in early November and gauge whether shipping would bring the gifts before the third, eighth and thirteenth. Obviously I assumed they wouldn't, so I decided to make them Christmas presents if they didn't come in time or I hadn't gotten any ideas for any other gifts at that time. As it stands now I did use the presents for the 8th but not the 3rd as it has still not come. Though I covered it with various other options that presented themselves in the last hours.
One thing I would recommend unless you cannot help it...Do not buy clothing or size specific items if at all possible as I have learned now that all objects may appear bigger than they actually are. It's a good thing the style makes it work in my case as returning gifts is never an independently happy endeavour.
Please feel free to use my story as a well-wishing and recommendation of purchasing online. Although I do wonder what actually happened to deliver myself an extra package across country lines and it being of the somewhat illegal type in it of itself. Yes I am talking about receiving a lock-stocked air/bb gun from I believe Louisiana and was wondering as the package was heavier than items I could remember ordering, imagine my shock as I opened this very real looking gun and 1500 pack of ammunition.
