I am hot and you can be too!

Going 5 of 6 with my bets last night I feel compelled to share my picks for tonights contests. The only loss was Beckett and the BoSox losing 4-3 I believe. I also included the Monday-niter taking San Diego, which was a small risk as most felt LT wouldn't be playing, but I was confident.

I am taking just because my Jays are not in the playoff run, Mike Mussina who raked in my last bet on him is countering Jesse Litsch who when these two last matched up, the Yanks won 5-1. I am just hoping New York doesn't have a letdown after closing off Yankee Stadium. I will also take the UNDER at -9.5 while taking the Yankees to WIN.

I am keeping with the baseball lineup tonight in taking the Philadelphia Phillies with Cole Hamels on the hill tonight. Phila has dominated to say the least against the Braves in '08.

Jered Weaver has been solid against the M's in 2008. And with a pitcher I have dubbed 'Fairyland'
RYAN FEIERABEND was blown out lastly against the KC Royals and Zach Greinke. So take the Angels as they prepare for post-season play.

Here is a big money player at 3-1 for a TIE between Colorado and SanFran. Meaning either squad will win by only 1 run. A scary idea for most cappers but in this one if you look at it you'll see in three games this year for COL's Ubaldo Jimenez has had all three come within one run wins with all No Decisions. Whereas Tim Lincecum has from what i've seen 5 of 6 games within a run, so I think this one is as close to a Tie going in as any game could be. Also from me researching game I couldn't pick a winner anyways.

SD @ LAD have both had their bullpens decimated by being overworked lately and both starter have been (not so good) or bad against their respective teams but Billingsley gets the nod over Leblanc just giving him a little credit for a 3+ ERA and 15-10 record.

Best of Luck!
and remember build your bankroll and accounts slowly but surely, do not get overconfident because things can quickly turn. So get you adaptable system, be smart and don't fall for the bets that everyone likes. Peace out for now and Church-suckas!

Monday Night Football-Picks

Picks Made as of 2:15pm ET Wednesday

Firstly My Monday night double-header picks

I am taking the Green Bay Packers, who are not getting the respect as the only change for them from a top team last year is at the QB spot. I think Rodgers can do enough in the early weeks to put them in a position to win. Take GB with the final score being 20-13 and look the UNDER at 38.

In the late game Oakland seems to be getting no credit as an up-an-coming team. I don't think they will beat a competing maybe playoff caliber Denver squad. But Cutler will be put to the test to put it all out there and show the Broncos his experience over the last few years. I am betting DEN as they will win this one 27-20, so if you think Oak-town will battle and there safe dump and dish offense will put up modest but solid numbers take the OVER at 41.5.

Now to picks and finals in the NFL for week one.

I was impressed by the cannon Favre still possess' as he hit Jerricho Cotchery fo a huge deep-ball on their first drive. I predicted a 27-17 score, it ended up 20-14 which was good I loaded up on the -3 for Jets and only conceded a sprinkle on the over @ 36. So came out ahead with my massive play on the J-E-T-S!

A painful loss Thursday as I had predicted a 21-20 final for the 'skins over the Giants. At +4 I thought this one would come down to a FG. Giants win 16-7.

I would like to see a replay of the Colts and Bears game as I only saw parts, but did Manning just not get it done? I took the Bears +9.5 but still thought the Colts would win by a smaller margin. Da Bears win 29-13. I also just barely won my UNDER as Peyton failed in his last drive effort for a little respect.

I took my AZ Cardinals in week one as they took out the Niners in a time clock end game plan with a 23-13 win. My predicted score was 24-20, but maybe I gave JT O'S a little too much respect.

I thought TB would take this one as NWO battled and Brees looked decent in a 24-20 match-up of two equal competitors. final 24-20, mine 23-17 for TB that one hurt.
PIT was my big team in one of my pools for the highest scoring team in week one and they would have had sole possession if they left Roethlisberger in, in the 4th. They blasted HOU 38-17 tieing Phila with the highest so far, so I am in good shape with two-to-go.

Those have been all picks bet in week one. Feel free to take my advice for entertainment purposes and if you choose to lay it down. Please do so at your own risk as this site and the people associated with this website are not responsible for incurred debts and wagers played.

But that doesn't mean you cannot rip me if I am completely off-base with any picks as all is fair game and it's keeps me going to do a better lineup next time out. May the winners be yours and play to win!

College Football

So this is what they spend their time creating in the off-season. Any fan of college football has seen Lou Holtz and his original take on things. I credit my RSS reader for showing me this one
