Hearing news of this and now seeing the video. I was shocked, but am not surprised as some games that are not on television seem to always have those drunk guys anyway. But check out this video below of Scotty Nguyen at the Horse 50k final table.
Try and figure out how many rules are broken. I count around 8, you?
Now that you've seen it what was your first reaction. I did have a previous employer that would come over every poker night and barge in and try and take over the game as my roommate at the time could not stop him from getting bombed and telling us these god-awful stories. The only reason my friends at the table let it go is he had deep pockets and continued to play worse the more he drank.
Also missed in all this was the tribute of the tournament to Chip Reese. A great player, a legend in my eyes and recognized by the top players in the world. Reese was the complete opposite of the actions that Scotty Nguyen decided to exhibit.
What type of player are you? Do you need liquid courage to be this obnoxious at the table?

Live Updates for UFC 87- First Fight

Jason MacDonald out of Canada faces Demian Maia, a truly great opening round match as they go toe-to-toe and both counter each other and try and out-maneuver each other into submissions. I am impressed with "The Athlete". Hard to tell who won the first round. Clearly the second round goes to Maia as he dominates Jason for the most part. But in the third I am sure both these guys do not want to let the judges decide.
The crowd in Minnesota goes wild as they put the camera on Adrian Peterson, star of their Vikings in the NFL. A stud at the tail-back spot, look for him to dominate defenses once again this year.
!MacDonald is in deep Maia has his back and now has his arm deep under the chin and slowly cuts off MacDonalds chances at this one as The Athlete is forced to tap out.
2mins 44seconds Tapout to a rear-naked choke WINNER Maia!
He is still undefeated and looks like he will be moving into even tougher opponents as he continues to do Brazil proud.
