Let it snow...

Wow that came fast!
I am now surrounded by snow, fitting it being the first of December for the snow to fully come. I am a little scared of the morning for myself as I have a lot to take care of before I hit up the hockey game. Oh yeah, I said it, finally I have tickets to see my beloved London Knights play today. They lost Friday 7-1, in which I missed whether or not it's true, every time I miss a game my team always loses terribly. Now I am not saying I can make them win, I just have proven that i can make them lose pretty readily with all my teams really.



I saw an update about Cafepress where someone was selling a Mohammed stuffed bear, making light of the fact of the recent school teacher who came under attack over bringing a teddy bear named Mohammed to her classroom. It is a really odd story if you get a chance to check it out.
I then started wondering if my shop was still open after all these years, I remember finding out about this type site a long time ago and even giving it a try. But surely I am not still registered. After trying to retrieve my old passkey, I successfully found my old designs and quips. A nice trip down memory lane for sure. So it inspired me to just have it as something fun to try once again, I assure you that anything I am selling, I do own and wear proudly. I even noticed that they will publish your books now. Hopefully I won't have to go that route, but it is always better than putting your manuscript on the shelve after all that work and no printed book to show for your work I guess.



I have just discovered NaNoWriMo, which is a writing type prompt that gets all writers around the world to write a novel in the month of November, with each writer needing to write 50,000 words to win. Although I have missed it for this year, I look forward to sharpening my skills and giving it a go next year. The amount of people and community presence is huge and vital to their success I believe. Even in my city of say 300k people, they have good numbers.
I have found however a same like site for writing screenplay's, that is my main goal, but would like to write everything before I am done.
